About the Role

We are seeking a Part-time Therapy Assistant to join our team at Regis Day Therapy Centre in Blackburn VIC.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced therapists to deliver high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their physical and mental well-being and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow designed care plans within the scope of practice as prescribed by the Registered Therapist
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the client's preferences and effectively communicate the team on relevant information, issues, and concerns
  • Be responsive to client needs, concerns, and suggestions, ensuring timely and appropriate action
  • Build supportive and positive relationships with clients, families, referrers, and colleagues
  • Document treatments and maintain up-to-date, clear, and accurate client plans and records

Requirements

  • Team player with ability to manage and support varied priorities
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a similar role
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (preferred)
  • Intermediate computer skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Evidence of Flu vaccine
  • Proof of right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Valid National Police Check/NDIS workers card
  • Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications
