Capital Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead the successful delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, safety standards, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and external contractors to coordinate resources and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to maintain project momentum.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development activities by proactively identifying opportunities and managing client engagement.
  • Develop proposals, tenders, and RFQs in collaboration with internal subject matter experts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through site visits and industry event representation.
  • Negotiate pricing to ensure proposals meet client expectations and project profitability.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams on brownfields and sustaining capital projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including cost control, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and RFQs.
  • Experience managing business development activities, including proposal preparation and maintaining strong, strategic client relationships.
