Wave International, a leading resource development firm, is seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects for Tier 1-3 resource companies. The successful candidate will ensure alignment with client expectations, safety standards, and project timelines.
This role involves collaborating with internal engineering disciplines and external contractors to coordinate resources and ensure efficient project execution. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project scopes, budgets, and schedules to deliver cost-effective and timely results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors
- Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules
The ideal candidate will also have experience in business development, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities aligned with Wave's strategic goals. They will develop proposals, tenders, and RFQs in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and build strong client relationships through site visits and industry event representation.
Key requirements for this role include:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering from a recognized institution
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams on brownfields and sustaining capital projects
- Strong project management capabilities, including cost control, scheduling, and risk mitigation
