Job Summary

As a Team Leader in our Proactive Services team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure that all cleaning and trolley collection tasks are completed to a high standard. You will coach and train your team, develop their skills in trolley collection, cleaning, and waste support. Your role will involve creating a roster for your team, working with the Store Leadership teams, and identifying challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities. You will also be responsible for ordering consumables and maintaining a budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a roster for your team to ensure all daily tasks and operations are covered.
  • Work with the Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
  • Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction.
  • Complete time and attendance activities for your team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Order all consumables for your stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget.
  • Work as part of the Proactive Services team, providing cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people. You will need to be flexible to work in different environments, have a good eye for cleanliness and small details, and be physically fit to handle physically demanding tasks. You will also need to be able to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes.
