Customer Service Advocate

Welcome to Windermere Child and Family Services, a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality support services across the Southeast of Victoria.
As a Customer Service Advocate, you will play a vital role in our NDIS team, providing exceptional service to our consumers and ensuring their needs are met. This permanent ongoing role offers a 0.9 fraction or 34.2 hours per week, split over 5 days (6.84 hrs per day), perfect for achieving a great work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will be a patient and caring individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to engage with new people, gather and analyse information, and provide guidance to ensure smooth on-boarding of new consumers. Strong initiative and attention to detail are essential, particularly in maintaining accurate waitlists and implementing allocations as directed by service team leaders.
You will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to allocate new consumers to the appropriate service delivery staff. Your proficiency in using client management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, will be highly valued.
Key requirements for this role include:
- Minimum two years administration experience in a similar/comparable not-for-profit organisation
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing priorities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to the consumer experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
In return for your dedication and expertise, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
