About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and excellent communicator to join our Digital Transformation portfolio as a Data Governance & Knowledge Management Lead. As a key member of our team, you will drive and communicate data governance policies, and develop and deliver our knowledge management strategy.

This newly created 2-year position (potential for ongoing permanent employment) will form an integral part of the delivery of Windermere's digital and data governance strategy and enterprise ICT investment and uplift.

The right candidate will have a desire to make an impact and will join Windermere at an exciting time, as we mature the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive outcomes by influencing stakeholders through effective communication and leadership skills
  • Lead the Data Analysis maturity and adoption across the organisation, utilising your experience and strong project delivery and facilitation skills
  • Foster a strong data safety culture, building positive key stakeholder relationships with the community and utilising your knowledge and experience of data systems and reporting outcomes

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology, data science, engineering, or MBA
  • Minimum of 10 years comprehensive IT function experience with the last 3 years at team leader/manager level
  • Experience with developing and deploying Data Governance Framework in organisations
  • Exceptional analytical and technical skills, with extensive experience with knowledge management across several organisations for information ownership, centralised repositories of information, data transformation, reporting
  • Ability to manage outsourced providers and consultants, with a willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible
