Senior Business Analyst Job Description

This is a challenging role for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our business analysis function. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into user stories.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders and project teams to deliver software solutions that meet business needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for capturing business requirements, developing use cases, and facilitating communication between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and research.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with agile software delivery teams.
  • Conduct process analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop business process reengineering plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with business goals and strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams through effective documentation and presentation.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar business analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in travel or retail environments is highly regarded.
  • UI/UX experience is highly regarded.
