Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and be able to drive the implementation of new travel booking systems. They will work closely with stakeholders to capture business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and design innovative solutions that drive efficiency.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and facilitation skills, as well as a strong analytical and problem-solving ability. They will be able to gather and document business requirements, translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria within an agile software delivery team, and conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives align with business goals.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and training material.
  • Provide leadership within project teams to ensure delivery of customer requirements and expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar business analyst role.
  • Extensive proven experience in key business analysis disciplines, including requirements elicitation and documentation, process analysis, and organisational strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
  • Attention to detail and effective organisation, and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience within travel or other internet-scale environments.
Preferred Skills:

The following skills are preferred but not required:

  • Strong understanding of the travel or retail industry.
  • Knowledge in business process reengineering and improvement.
  • Ability to conduct virtual meetings and workshops.
  • Excellent documentation skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly regarded.
  • UI/UX experience is highly regarded.
Qualifications:

A Business Analyst formal qualification is highly desirable.
