As a key member of our Network Planning team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, analysis, and development of high voltage transmission systems that power millions of Australians.

This position is critical to delivering exceptional outcomes for customers and communities through dedicated service. Our ideal candidate will have experience in transmission system planning or power systems analysis, as well as strong technical writing and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers on network modelling, analysis and forecasting
  • Deliver clear and concise technical reports, recommendations and stakeholder briefings
  • Streamline power system analysis processes and assess new technologies
  • Foster strong relationships with industry partners including AEMO, DNSPs, generators and regulators

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Experience in transmission system planning or power systems analysis
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the National Electricity Market and HV network operations
