Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide customers in developing their personal interests and skills
  • Coach independent living skills such as cooking, domestic, and social skills
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans
  • Document clear, concise, and factual handover notes and incident reports
  • Provide personal care when required, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing
  • Help customers engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
Requirements
  • Willingsness to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekends
  • Versatile communication skills, including interacting with verbal and non-verbal customers
  • Current driver's license (mandatory requirement)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003
  • Up-to-date Covid Vaccinations
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar are advantageous
