Job Title: Acquired Injury Support Worker

We are seeking like-minded individuals to join our exceptional support team who exemplify hope, compassion, justice and respect.

As an Acquired Injury Support Worker, you will provide direct care and support to clients to ensure that their individual needs are met.

You will work with clients using a person-centred approach to assist and support them to live a full life.

The aim is to assist clients to develop additional skills in line with their goals and support plan.

  • Personal care (showering, grooming and dressing)
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation
  • Transport
  • Purchases
  • Social support
  • Record keeping and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Australian Residency status or valid Australian working rights
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or currently working towards one
  • A current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence and an insured and reliable motor vehicle
  • A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • A Schedule 1 or Probity type National Police Check (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record)
  • An International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16
