Taxation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Manager to join our Business Services team at Pitcher Partners. As a Taxation Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients, spanning a wide range of tax-related matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, structuring transactions, and guiding clients through their tax affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Analysis and Advice: Utilize advanced technical analysis to offer practical and commercially viable advice across a wide spectrum of tax matters.
- Tax Legislation Interpretation: Investigate, evaluate, and interpret tax legislation, offering your insights and recommendations.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in implementing strategies for key tax planning priorities.
- Client Relationships: Develop successful client relationships and generate business development opportunities.
- Training and Development: Support the delivery of technical training and professional development.
- Project Leadership: Lead and oversee tax projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution, and alignment with business goals.
- Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Thought Leadership: In conjunction with Marketing, offer thought leadership content to clients and stakeholders.
- Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant degree in accounting, law, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years' experience in business services, tax consulting, or equivalent.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: An inquisitive and analytical mindset with a passion for delving into complex issues and finding innovative solutions to challenging tax problems.
- Time Management: Strong time management to handle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Teamwork: Team orientated approach where you can thrive in a collaborative environment where you can actively support your colleagues, embodying our values in your interactions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, which allow you to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both clients and peers.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to work ensuring accuracy in analysis and recommendations as well as in the preparation of tax documentation.
- Adaptability: Adaptable and resilient with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances or priorities, maintaining focus on productivity under pressure.
