About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Pitcher Partners. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients, as well as supporting and guiding our junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced technical analysis to offer practical and commercially viable advice across a wide spectrum of tax matters.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and interpret tax legislation, offering your insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in implementing strategies for key tax planning priorities.
  • Develop successful client relationships and generate business development opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of technical training and professional development.
  • Lead and oversee tax projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • In conjunction with Marketing, offer thought leadership content to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in accounting, law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in business services, tax consulting, or equivalent.
  • An inquisitive and analytical mindset with a passion for delving into complex issues and finding innovative solutions to challenging tax problems.
  • Strong time management to handle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Team-orientated approach where you can thrive in a collaborative environment where you can actively support your colleagues, embodying our values in your interactions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, which allow you to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both clients and peers.
  • Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to work ensuring accuracy in analysis and recommendations as well as in the preparation of tax documentation.
  • Adaptable and resilient with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances or priorities, maintaining focus on productivity under pressure.
