Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced technical analysis to offer practical and commercially viable advice across a wide spectrum of tax matters, including income tax, CGT, structuring transactions, and guiding clients through their tax affairs.
- Legislative Interpretation: Investigate, evaluate, and interpret tax legislation, offering your insights and recommendations to ensure our clients are aware of the latest tax developments.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in implementing strategies for key tax planning priorities, ensuring our clients' tax obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and oversee tax projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
- Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Thought Leadership: In conjunction with Marketing, offer thought leadership content to clients and stakeholders, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership in the tax industry.
- Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant degree in accounting, law, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years' experience in business services, tax consulting, or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including advanced knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and peers.
- Teamwork: A team-oriented approach, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and support colleagues in achieving our goals.
