Job Description

As a Senior Financial Manager, you will play a key role in the financial management of our client's business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the accounting functions and financial reporting process, including coordination of monthly management reporting, statutory and taxation compliance, and system development.
  • Developing and managing detailed data analysis and reporting across the business for all projects, operations, investments, and corporate initiatives.
  • Coordinating and preparing budgets, budget approvals, forecasts, and compliance with internal policies and procedures for financial governance.
  • Managing and preparing payroll for the business.
  • Assisting in supervising junior accounting and finance roles as required.
  • Ensuring each business entity adheres to management accounting standards and is financially compliant.
  • Ensuring compliance with and development of governance standards, ASIC reporting, and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant

We are seeking an experienced finance professional with excellent communication and attention to detail. An analytical mindset, strong prioritization, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team will be critical in this role. Key competencies include:

  • CA/CPA qualification and degree in accounting and/or finance.
  • Extensive technical and practical experience in relevant areas of accounting.
  • Solid technical background, including statutory and taxation reporting experience and knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Excellent Excel skills and data modeling/analysis.
