About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Experience Expert to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests feel valued and cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and sincere greetings to guests, engaging them in conversation about their stay and property services.
- Process guest check-ins, confirming reservations and issuing room keys.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
- Process check-outs, resolving any late or disputed charges and retrieving room keys.
- Process various payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
Service Experience
- Operate the telephone switchboard, answering calls and monitoring busy or unanswered lines.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, and questions.
- Contact relevant individuals or departments to resolve guest issues.
- Supply guests with directions and information about property amenities, services, and local areas of interest.
Concierge
- Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services, such as transportation or reservations.
- Supply guests with directions and information about property amenities and local areas of interest.
Club Concierge
- Monitor the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
- Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages, stocking ice, glassware, and supplies.
- Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
- Complete opening and closing duties, requisitioning necessary supplies and securing liquors and storage areas.
- Document pertinent information in the department logbook.
- Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
Requirements
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification from a nationally accredited training provider.
- I'm Alert Food Safety Certification from the City of Perth.
- Experience working in a customer service role is preferred.
- Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Unrestricted working rights for Australia.
