Administrative Support Opportunity

Randstad is seeking an experienced Administrative Support professional to join our client's team in Ballarat. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide administrative assistance to the operations team in a government organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, word processing, and database management.
  • Manage software systems and handle customer service requests.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage orders for office supplies and staff amenities.
  • Receive and manage deliveries, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
  • Process purchase orders and debtor invoices, and support payroll and staff training coordination.
  • Assist with administrative duties for the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, including event bookings.
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent word processing skills and accuracy in data entry, along with demonstrated experience with a wide range of Windows-based applications, Content Manager, and Pathway.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new situations, showing initiative in responding to challenging and competing work tasks and demands.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
