About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement and Property to join our Perpetual Wealth Management team in Sydney. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our procurement strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate high-value contracts, and manage supplier performance.
  • Procurement Process Optimization: Oversee and continuously improve procurement processes to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance with company policies.
  • Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, manage procurement budgets, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities support business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 7 years of experience managing indirect sourcing, primarily for IT services and other procurement categories.
  • Strong background in IT & financial services organisation, in a commercial management role.
  • Property management experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects, work in a dynamic environment, and meet objectives.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Estimated Salary:

$140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
