Job Overview

This role involves working as a mechanical technician in a gold production environment, ensuring the efficient operation of plant equipment and maintaining high levels of safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance;
  • Support the processing team by providing accurate and reliable assistance with routine tasks and troubleshooting issues;
  • Identify and report potential hazards, incidents, and equipment stoppages in a timely manner across all areas of the facility;

Requirements
  • A recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification from an Australian educational institution;
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of fixed plant infrastructure in a similar gold production environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high levels of safety standards and work behaviors.
