Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, minor repairs, and documentation.

You will also perform oil changes and lubrication work, communicate with service advisors when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period, inspect and test-drive new vehicles to ensure that all features function properly, install accessories on new vehicles as specified by the customer or dealer, shadow skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs, and complete in-house and factory training courses.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and lubrication work
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
Requirements:
  • 1 year of automotive maintenance experience or equivalent training
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude and a customer service mentality
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
