Mechanical Fitter Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter to join our team. As a mechanical fitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of processing plants by providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs.

You will be responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures, as well as completing all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fixed plant maintenance within a processing plant operation, hold mechanical trade qualifications, and possess a sound understanding of machinery and care of fixed plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the achievement of maintenance targets through effective preventative maintenance practices
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of task instructions and procedures
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with maintenance duties
Requirements
  • Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance within a processing plant operation

  • Sound understanding of machinery and care of fixed plant equipment
