Our organization seeks a seasoned structural engineering leader to spearhead the design and delivery of large-scale renewable energy systems and high-voltage infrastructure projects.

This critical role demands an experienced professional with exceptional technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of structural design principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and HV power facilities, including foundations, steel and concrete structures, platforms, enclosures, and balance-of-plant components.
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, specifications, design drawings, and construction documentation in accordance with industry codes and standards.
  • Conduct thorough structural analysis under static and dynamic load conditions, including wind and seismic loads.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to senior and junior engineering staff and design professionals.
  • Carry out site inspections and structural evaluations to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated project solutions for renewable energy and HV substation developments.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and third-party reviewers to ensure project compliance and secure necessary approvals.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or currently working toward accreditation.
  • At least 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a minimum of 7 years in renewable energy and HV infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in structural design for solar PV systems, BESS, and HV substations.
  • Proficient in using structural design software and AutoCAD.
  • Thorough understanding of structural design standards and renewable energy-specific codes.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with renewable energy and HV infrastructure design, construction, or implementation.
  • Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design tools.
  • Solid understanding of geotechnical principles and soil-structure interaction.
