Role Summary
The MJD Recruitment team is seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join this reputable global law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining HR filing and records in a fast-paced environment.
- Drafting and preparing employment contracts for new staff members.
- Completing all required administrative onboarding and termination processes.
- Conducting conflict checks and police checks as part of the onboarding process.
- Liaising with new employees and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
- Coordinating internal HR meetings, new starter inductions, and interviews.
- Organising Learning and Development events to support the growth of the team.
- Coordinating renewal of practicing licenses for staff members.
- Assisting with the organisation of Grad & Clerk recruitment events.
- Collaborating on special projects throughout the HR team nationally.
Requirements
- 12 months - 2 years of strong administrative or secretarial experience, with excellent organisational skills.
- A keen interest in HR and a passion for supporting the growth of the team.
- Confidence in liaising with graduates, new lawyers, and partners to ensure effective communication.
- The ability to set up meetings, maintain calendars, and manage offer documentation.
- A proactive approach to managing upwards and working closely with the HR team.
