Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Australian-owned manufacturer and distributor of compressed gases and cryogenic liquids.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement maintenance plans for distribution equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Perform breakdown maintenance as required, utilizing mobile equipment and tools.
  3. Ensure the proper use, management, and storage of equipment to prevent damage or degradation.
  4. Collaborate with peers and third parties to achieve quality outcomes.
  5. Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Coordinate the movement of distribution assets, including ISO containers, for routine maintenance activities.
  7. Manage traffic changes for distribution assets as needed.
Requirements
  1. A degree or diploma in a Mechanical or engineering trade is essential.
  2. Proven experience in operating mobile equipment, including forklifts.
  3. 8-10 years of experience in a heavy industrial engineering environment is preferred.
  4. Sound knowledge of gas monitors and analysers.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets.
  6. MIG/TIG welding experience and ability to create workshop drawings.
