The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotating Equipment Team Leader to join our Energy Services Asset Development team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility in NSW. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading a multi-skilled team in the delivery of Mechanical Maintenance, including Capital Works, for a variety of rotating equipment across our manufacturing sites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support through the investigation of equipment issues
  • Managing the team's success through their performance and productivity
  • Overseeing external maintenance contractors
  • Ensuring safety standards are adhered to and making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identified
  • Managing maintenance costs
  • Supervising maintenance activities and striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Advanced diploma or degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to translate business objectives to clear actions and outcomes for your team
  • Ability to coach and develop others to enhance capability
  • Competence in the application of maintenance management systems and processes
  • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others
  • Knowledge and experience of rotating equipment including Steam Turbines, Compressors, Pumps and fans
