Marketing and Administrative Support Professional

Job Overview:

The Marketing and Administration Officer plays a vital role in business development, supporting the Business Development Manager in growing membership and contract opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Development Manager in identifying, planning, booking, and preparing internal and external business promotions, such as presentations and trade events.
  • Assist with desktop publishing tasks using Canva or similar technologies.
  • Provide administrative support to senior executives on an ad hoc basis.
  • Clear grouped email mailboxes, process new membership enquires, schedule meetings, issue and track documentation, and perform data entry and validation.
  • Maintain polite and professional phone contact with members, including following up late payments.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a marketing and administration role, preferably in a business development setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and data entry systems.

Work Schedule: Structured and unstructured work, including occasional participation at hosted events during and after normal working hours.
