Primary Teacher Specialist

We are seeking a Primary Teacher Specialist to join our team at St Joseph's Catholic School in Mount Isa. This is a part-time, permanent position that involves teaching 18 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach primary students in a specialist role
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians
- Participate in professional learning and development opportunities
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in primary education
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to travel occasionally within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role safely
