Job Title: Primary Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community at St Joseph's Catholic School, Mount Isa.

About the Role: As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student well-being and engagement

Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Primary Education or a related field
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
