Job Description

Job Title: Primary Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our vibrant school community at St Kieran's Catholic School, Mount Isa.

About the Role:

  • Teach a range of subjects to students in prep to year 6
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the school community

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs
  • Assess and report student progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives and events

Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
