We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community at St Joseph's Catholic School in Mount Isa, Queensland. Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $84,077 to $121,092 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary package, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Job Description

This part-time, permanent position involves teaching a specialist subject to students in Prep to Year 6. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of abilities. They will work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education and support student growth and achievement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
