Key Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Australian competition law, including consumer protection regulations
  • Experience assisting with merger clearances, joint ventures, regulatory investigations and dispute resolution
Suitable Candidates Will
  • Have the right to work and reside in Australia
  • Be qualified to practice in Australia and have an unrestricted practicing certificate or the ability to obtain the same
  • Have a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience within a law firm akin to A&O Shearman and/or ranked top tier in their area of expertise
  • Have strong technical knowledge and recent Australian experience
  • Be a self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant
  • Be adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels
  • Be client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment
  • Have strong commercial/business acumen
  • Be resilient, adaptable, autonomous, and highly credible
