Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist

The role is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of purchasing goods and materials to meet internal and external demand. The successful candidate will be expected to possess extensive SAP experience, a mature understanding of supply chain management including incoterms, warehousing, and logistics.

  • Previous experience in SAP at a high level - minimum 2 years.
  • Mature understanding of supply chain management including incoterms, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Ability to manage competing demands with the ability to work towards tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while liaising closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate on-time delivery of customer requirements.
  • Strong communication, cooperation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of customer and supplier development trends and technologies.

Responsibilities include coordinating the supply of standard items, checking purchase requests against inventory records, running daily purchase requisition reports, creating purchase orders, confirming vendor acknowledgements, recording order confirmations, and late notifications to internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Global Principles or Intercompany Model as an advantage. Only those with full working rights in Australia need apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the supply of standard items.

  • Create purchase orders.
  • Confirm vendor acknowledgements.
