Job Overview

The Operational Purchasing Specialist plays a pivotal role in the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and materials to meet both internal and external demand.

  • Coordinate the supply of standard items to meet customer requirements
  • Verify purchase requests against inventory records or stock levels
  • Run daily reports to identify purchasing trends and opportunities
  • Create purchase orders on local vendors for specific demand requirements
  • Confirm vendor acknowledgements to ensure timely delivery

This role requires an individual with extensive experience in SAP, a deep understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, including Incoterms, Warehousing, and Logistics. The ideal candidate must be able to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate results on time.
