Business Development Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a business development professional. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth and profitability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop plans, and execute initiatives that meet or exceed financial goals. Your analytical skills, combined with your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, will be key to your success in this position.

About the Job
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Develop, sell, and implement business plans to meet or exceed financial targets
  • - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop strategies and plans
  • - Manage and improve distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising
  • - Translate business plans into measurable selling points for customers
  • - Develop productive working relationships with key customer contacts and sell mutually effective business plans
  • - Use analytical tools and integrate various data systems to develop new insights
  • - Provide input into retailer category strategy
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • - Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or NZ Residents
  • - Currently completing final year of a Bachelor's degree or recent graduate
  • - Passion for stakeholder management and communication
  • - Must have an Australian driver's license
  • - Experience in FMCG or Retail industry preferred
  • - Minimum credit average across university results
  • - Strong leadership experience (e.g., leadership positions in clubs, teams, societies)
  • - Well-rounded life experience (involved in contributing to the community)
  • - Collaborative team player with a real passion for winning
  • - Analytical mind, able to think strategically and foster innovation
