Role Description

This role supports individuals with disability to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers as part of the Inclusive Employment Australia program.

As a dedicated professional, you will collaborate with participants to explore their career aspirations, build confidence, and facilitate their transition into employment. You will take the time to understand their strengths and interests, providing tailored guidance and linking them to suitable opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Sourcing and creating career opportunities that match clients to sustainable roles.
  • Championing inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Engaging with employers to address skill shortages through innovative solutions and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • Brokerage of work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Preparing workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitating employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Building employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promoting Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Meeting or exceeding internal and external performance benchmarks.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services - desirable.
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current Driver's License - essential.
