They collaborate closely with clients to identify their strengths, goals, and challenges, and provide tailored guidance and support to help them achieve their career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with clients to design and implement personalized career development plans and provide ongoing support to find suitable job opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, goals, and motivations.
  • Provide regular coaching and check-ins to maintain motivation and progress towards career objectives.
  • Connect clients with relevant upskilling opportunities, hands-on experiences, and group-based activities that cater to their interests and abilities.
  • Collaborate with employers and community services to establish pathways to employment, training, and professional growth.
About You:

You will be a confident, empathetic, and skilled professional with experience in employment services and supporting individuals with diverse needs. You will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) – desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting individuals with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions
  • Proven ability to meet performance targets and create client-centered employment and skills plans
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
