NDIS Employment Specialist

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a motivated, innovative, and proactive individual to work with our School Leaver Employment Supports team on a Casual basis. As an NDIS Employment Coach, you will assist participants and school leavers to achieve their employment goals and social inclusion under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Your key responsibilities will include building a professional relationship with participants, providing a positive and supportive environment, creating individual support plans, and facilitating individual and group activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build a professional relationship with participants at differing stages in their employment journey.
- Provide a positive and supportive environment for people with disability to assist them with reaching their goals of finding and sustaining employment.
- Create individual support plans and 12-week plans that outline the participants' journey towards finding and keeping a job.
- Facilitate individual and group activities, using a variety of enabling styles, including job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience, and confidence-building.
- Ensure efficiency and compliance with administrative processes, in line with organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and guidelines from the National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Maintain data integrity and efficiently manage workload, prioritising tasks and ensuring all work is completed within designated time frames.
**About You:**
To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual who has the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated, proactive, showing initiative and problem-solving skills, resilience and patience, with the ability to work with complex behaviors. You will also need to have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain prior to start with Help. A reliable vehicle with current comprehensive car insurance is also required.
