Personal Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Ozcare in Brisbane North. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients, empowering them to live their best lives in their own homes.
About the RoleThis is a permanent part-time opportunity that requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work a varied roster. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care and support to clients, including assistance with daily activities, personal care, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver holistic care, addressing the unique needs and goals of each client.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Home and Community Care.
- Current Police Screening Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- A reliable roadworthy vehicle, current registration, and comprehensive insurance.
- Current Queensland driver's licence and good computer and mobile device skills.

- A competitive hourly rate of $32.16, plus paid kilometres and travel time between clients.
- NFP salary packaging and an entertainment and meals card totalling $18,550 per year.
