Residential Care Officer Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and develop tailored care plans that reflect their preferences and goals.
  • Provide individualised support with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and nutrition.
  • Facilitate access to healthcare services, community activities, and social programs to promote inclusion and personal growth.
  • Implement effective behavioural and emotional support strategies to address mental health challenges or crisis situations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and case notes in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and community service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in care or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in person-centred care settings.
  • Proven understanding of person-centred care principles and quality service standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and adaptability to diverse client needs.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
