Institutional Banking and Payment Expert

This is a pivotal role requiring in-depth subject matter expertise, strong consulting capabilities, and a track record of managing complex digital and regulatory transformations in the financial sector.

You will work at the intersection of business strategy, cutting-edge technology, and regulatory change, crafting innovative solutions for top-tier institutional banks and payments providers.

  • Lead a portfolio of Payments and Institutional Banking client engagements across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop and drive a strategic growth agenda aligned with key banking clients' priorities.
  • Design and deliver transformative engagements across digital, regulatory, and platform transformation programs.

Key Requirements:

  • 12+ years of consulting experience, with at least 5 years focused on BFSI—particularly Payments and/or Institutional Banking.
  • Proven experience in top-tier consulting firms or in-house transformation roles at leading financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of institutional banking processes, payment flows, digital platforms, and regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related fields; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working with Australian banks or regulatory bodies (e.g., APRA, AUSTRAC) is a significant advantage.
