Senior Strategic Account Executive

Position Overview
Due to our expanding operations, we are seeking a seasoned Strategic Account Manager to manage our Farm Milk Collection clientele. This role is pivotal in fostering customer relationships and involves regular travel, primarily within Victoria. The position is full-time and can be based in either Melbourne or Geelong.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for all facets of your client portfolio, aiming to enhance strategic partnerships and integrate McColl's into our customers' workflows. Collaborating closely with McColl's Senior Leadership, Finance, and Operations teams, you will promote operational excellence by contributing to innovative solutions that facilitate sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving the development and sustainability of strong customer relationships across all levels of the client's organization to optimize commercial prospects and boost market presence.
- Establishing reliable and professional connections with all internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
- Meeting targets related to revenue maximization and enhancements to gross margin profitability.
- Overseeing the customer contract portfolio for the Farm Milk Collection Division.
- Delivering commercial insights, reporting, and support to the Commercial team regarding the division's financial performance, customer updates, and business prospects.
- Assisting the General Manager – Commercial in managing all essential contractual relationships with business delivery partners.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Customer Relationship Management, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities to execute McColl's customer and business strategy effectively.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in Strategic Account Management or a Strategic Operational capacity.
- Strong commercial acumen with extensive experience in contract negotiation and management.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business challenges and planning requirements.
- Proven track record in negotiating and managing significant customer contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of computer proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Experience within the Dairy and/or Logistics sectors.
