Quality and Improvement Professional

Grampians Health is seeking a skilled Quality and Improvement Professional to support the development and implementation of quality processes, ensuring effective delivery, development, and evaluation of our Governance Framework.

The successful candidate will collaborate with team members to promote high-quality healthcare that meets expected standards of safety and quality across all areas. They will also provide expert guidance in systems thinking, operational excellence, change management, sustainability, data and analytics, governance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clinical areas with audit schedules, completing audits, and working with areas to implement quality activities based on results.
  • Providing education and support for staff to use electronic tools effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining governance documentation, such as policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with staff and consumers to ensure systems and processes meet best practice, strategic directions, and governance framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A registered professional with AHPRA registration, post-graduate qualifications in Quality and Practice Improvement or working towards.
  • Experience in developing governance frameworks to improve efficiency and practice.
  • Preferably, experience in co-design and partnership.
