We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Illawarra region. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who shares our commitment to providing high-quality, family-centred support to children with disabilities and other problems.

About the Role

As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, compassionate care to children in their homes, clinics, schools, and communities. You will be responsible for assessing and treating children with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and providing education and support to families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat children with communication disorders, including speech, language, and fluency difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide education and support to families on strategies for promoting their child's communication development.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, dietitians, and early interventionists, to provide comprehensive care to children.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Masters in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to your own car.
