Speech Therapist

We are one of the largest providers to a national disability support program, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family.

We would love to hear from Speech Therapists with all levels of experience that enjoy the flexibility of working in a range of settings including both a clinic setting and the community.

Job Description

Our aim is to see our participants achieve their goals. We live and breathe capacity building, and empower participants by:

  • Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our intervention.
  • Utilizing a combination of standardized and non-standardized assessments curated to the participants' needs to guide our clinical reasoning.
  • Delivering much needed speech therapy interventions to participants within the setting best matched to their goals, which could be at school, at home, at work or in the community, or in our clinic space.
  • Collaborating with our local multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers, and Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Successful candidates will provide supports to cover participants living in various areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with a relevant professional association as a Speech Therapist.
  • A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A desire to make a real difference within the community.
  • Experience delivering services under a national disability support program.
