Procurement Strategist Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic procurement professional to drive the effective delivery of procurement and supply chain operations.

  • Manage daily procurement activities, overseeing a team of professionals in the effective delivery of services.
  • Contribute to the development of a procurement strategy across the organization, focusing on cost reduction and optimization activities while meeting business requirements.
  • Lead the tendering process for the function, undertaking category management activities including portfolio strategic planning, supplier relationship management, and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement improved procurement processes.
  • Drive category management activities to optimize spend and improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and performance excellence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working at a strategic level within procurement, managing teams and driving improvements.
  • Experience in procurement operations, including tendering, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
