Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to lead our procurement activities in the facility services industry.

  • This role involves developing and implementing effective procurement strategies for cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring alignment between operational needs and company goals.
  • The successful candidate will identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to drive value and efficiency.
  • Maintaining market awareness and staying up-to-date on the latest cleaning industry products and technologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans that meet business objectives.
  2. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between procurement and operational functions.

This position requires a strong understanding of procurement best practices, market trends, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Furthermore, leadership and team management skills, along with strong attention to detail and organisational skills, are necessary to succeed in this role.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a procurement manager or similar role within the cleaning industry.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
