Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Trainer to join our team. This is a site-based role on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational leadership teams on site with the successful delivery of training initiatives. This includes ensuring training strategies and development paths are being followed by employees and continuously improving onsite training and compliances.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Provide and facilitate on-site inductions for all employees, contractors, and client personnel.
  • Coordinate new starter arrivals to site including logistics from airport on arrival, camp, site familiarizations and introductions.
  • Provide underground tours for new starters and visitors in line with induction requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, a strong background in Underground Mining, and excellent MS Office Suite skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Underground Mining

• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
