Production Training Specialist

This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for high-risk plant operations.
Key aspects of the position include hands-on development and delivery of course materials, conducting individual competency assessments, and maintaining currency with relevant legislation and operational requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices, as well as experience in delivering training in minerals processing or refining operations.
About You- Demonstrated recent experience in delivering training in a minerals processing or refining operation, accompanied by current qualifications.
- A willingness to complete administrative tasks associated with keeping accurate training records and maintaining online learning platforms.
- Previous experience in reviewing, developing, and writing training packages, as well as proficiency in using Oracle software.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40116) or currently working towards.
- High-Risk Licence and WA C-Class Driver's Licence.

As a Production Training Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the development of comprehensive training solutions.
Responsibilities:- Conduct training courses for high-risk plant operations, including Steam Turbine Operation, Basic and Intermediate Steam Boiler operation.
- Deliver Utilities area inductions and area training as required.
- Maintain currency with DOSEP, WHS, and NOHSC legislation for high-pressure plant.
- Ensure legislative and operational changes to power generation training and assessment auditing criteria are captured and develop new training manuals as needed.
- Update and maintain the Utilities Training Manuals.
- Develop and maintain 'Safe Operating Procedures', Work Instructions, and isolation procedures for boiler and turbine plant.
