Cyber Security Manager

The NSW Department of Parliamentary Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead the development and implementation of cyber security strategy, frameworks, policies, and guidelines to enable the Parliament of NSW to prevent and respond to threats, safeguard its information, assets, and services, and comply with its legal and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cyber security strategy, frameworks, policies, and guidelines to ensure the security of the Parliament's information, assets, and services.
- Lead the development and implementation of security awareness programs to educate employees on cyber security best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber security risks and threats.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and vendors.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on cyber security matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Proven experience in cyber security management, including strategy development, risk management, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, policies, and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
