Job Title: Event Operations Coordinator

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Operations Coordinator to oversee the logistical aspects of our high-profile sports events. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive event operations plans to ensure seamless execution.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as is a demonstrated leadership and team management ability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive event operations plans to support the delivery of sports events
  • Coordinate and oversee all on-site logistics, including venue set-up, staffing, equipment management, and health and safety
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including event contractors, venue managers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving
  • Monitor event progress and make timely decisions to address any issues or challenges that arise
  • Manage a team of event staff, providing strong leadership, training, and support
Key Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience in sports event management/operations, with a proven track record of delivering successful events. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as is a demonstrated leadership and team management ability.
